It’s still you at the top of my wish list

i’m always the most sad around the holidays. just seems like way too much pressure to be happy. i wanted a song that captured that feeling…this just happens to also have a lil side of heartbreak. if i’m being real I didn’t really write this about a specific person. it’s more so about the feeling of wanting something that will fix the sadness or add some sort of excitement when you’ve been feeling so dull and lifeless.

but aye it’s got a lil kick to it so don’t get too sad. think of it as a christmas cry & chill. idk man. but i wrote this song like a year ago in my apartment and basically a full year later I was in LA recording in an actual studio using the same mic drake uses to make his music. prior to that i’ve been recording on a microphone i bought to do a podcast that I never started in college. i can’t believe the growth i’ve experienced over this year.
